Our apps

Two on the stores, three in your browser.#

Tayyib is live on the App Store and Google Play, and Hukm is on Google Play with its App Store listing on the way. Hibr is not on the stores yet — but all three already run in a browser, with nothing to install and no account needed to look around. Every one of them carries the same promise — halal content, human moderation, and prayer built in.

Tayyib · The all-in-one halal app

Scroll without the second-guessing.

Shorts, lectures, threads and audio in one calm feed — every video reviewed by a human before it reaches you.

  • Four homes in one: Shorts, Videos, Threads & Audio — quick clips, khutbahs, du‘ās and nasheeds.
  • Prayer-aware: prayer times, qibla, athan, and gentle reminders to pray before you keep scrolling.
  • Yours to control: private accounts, block, mute, report, delete anything.
Hibr app icon

Hibr · Learn the Islamic sciences

Five minutes a day, properly sourced.

Short lessons that build on each other — ʿaqīdah, fiqh, sīrah and more — with recitation you can just listen to.

  • A path, not a pile: lessons unlock in order, so knowledge builds the way it was taught.
  • Gamified honestly: streaks and progress — never at the cost of the content itself.
  • Qur’ān built in: recitation streams free, to learn with or simply listen.

Still being built — the web version works today, and it reaches the App Store and Google Play when it’s ready.

Hukm app icon

Hukm · Ask first. Then act.

Real answers, and the catching-up life throws at you.

Ask the questions you actually have — answered from certified scholars — and work through the prayers you still owe.

  • Ask anything: one ruling shown across all four madhāhib, with the bottom line spelled out.
  • Qaḍāʾ tools: count what you owe, log what you've made up, watch the number fall.
  • Daily habits: prayer logging, adhkār and dhikr, one tap at a time.

Hukm's Ask screen: one question answered across the Hanafi, Maliki, Shafiʿi and Hanbali schools, ending with a bottom line.

All three are free, with no ads and nothing to unlock. If you would like them to keep going — and to stay that way — sadaqah is what pays for it.

What you should know

No ads. Ever.#

Not "fewer ads", not "ads for now". That is the whole business model — and it is why sadaqah matters.

Built to be left.

No infinite tricks, no engagement bait, no dark patterns. When it's time to pray, Tayyib tells you to put it down — and pauses itself.

Real moderation

A human team reviews reported and creator content. Not an algorithm's best guess.

Prayer-aware

Times, qibla and athan in every app — and if you have two of ours, only one of them sounds it.

Yours to control

Private accounts, block, mute, report — and delete anything, forever, any time.

Free, and staying free

The deen is never gated. Qur’ān, lectures, prayer times, athan and qibla — free forever.

One rule runs through all of it

We don't paraphrase it, and we never invent a ruling.
فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

“So ask the people of knowledge, if you do not know.” — al-Naḥl 16:43

Religious content is taken word-for-word from certified scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah and attributed to them. Not summarised, not softened, not generated.

3ilm Studio is a small software company. The rest is just care: no ads, nothing haram, nothing built to waste your time.

Who builds this

Assalamu alaykum — I'm Salman.

I'm a college freshman. Through high school I spent four years studying the Islamic sciences on the side — enough to know exactly how little I know, and enough to notice that most of the tools we're given as Muslims weren't built with much care.

Every app here started as a problem I hit myself: feeds I couldn't scroll with a clear conscience, rulings I couldn't check properly, prayers I owed with no way to count them. I'm building the things I needed, so the people who come after me don't hit the same walls.

I'll be honest about the rest too. 3ilm Studio is a company mostly on paper — three names, one laptop doing the heavy lifting, no office. And I'm building a halal income on purpose: I'd like to get married, bi'idhnillāh, and I'd rather earn my way there making things that leave the ummah better off than I found it.

Questions

Asked often, answered plainly.#

Is it really free?
Yes. Every app is free, and everything of the deen — Qur’ān, lectures, prayer times, athan, qibla — stays free forever. Tayyib has an optional supporter subscription that adds extras; it never takes anything away from the free tier.
How is religious content verified?
It is taken word-for-word from certified scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah and attributed to them by name. We don't paraphrase, and we never invent a ruling. Community content is separate, and a human team moderates it.
Why no ads — how does it survive?
Ads pay by taking your attention, and most ad inventory is haram anyway. Instead: sadaqah from people who want this to exist, and an optional supporter tier in Tayyib. If that isn't enough, we'd rather grow slowly than sell your focus.
Where does donation money go?
Servers, storage and the app-store fees that keep the apps published — this is a small studio, not a company with offices. Larger gifts are arranged personally by email so you know exactly what they fund.
Which app should I start with?
If you want to watch and listen: Tayyib. If you want to study: Hibr. If you have questions, or prayers to make up: Hukm. They're built to sit side by side — and they coordinate, so two of our apps never sound the athan at once.
Can I use it without installing anything?
Yes — Tayyib runs in a browser at 3ilmstudio.com/discover. Same account, same feed, nothing to download. Hibr has a web version too. Watching, reading and prayer times all work; only the phone apps can send you an athan notification.
Do you collect my data?
Only what the apps need to work — your account, what you post, what you save. No ad networks, no trackers sold on, no profile built to be auctioned. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time, from inside the app.

Ṣadaqah jāriyah

Keep it free. Keep it clean.

3ilm is built for the sake of Allah and the benefit of the ummah. Your sadaqah keeps every app free, ad-free, and growing.
